Netzach — Endurance, Victory Through Persistence
The seventh sefirah, representing the capacity to keep going — the stamina that turns a single act of will into something durable.
Netzach means both 'endurance' and 'victory,' a double meaning kabbalists take seriously: triumph, in this scheme, is not a single decisive blow but the accumulated result of persistence over time. Positioned on the tree's right pillar below Chesed, Netzach carries something of Chesed's expansive, outward-driving quality but applied to sustained effort rather than a single act of giving. Some sources link Netzach to prophecy and to Moses, read as the figure who kept leading a resistant people for forty years without the campaign ever finishing in his own lifetime. As one of the two 'action' sefirot alongside Hod, Netzach represents the drive that pushes an intention out into the world despite resistance, incompleteness, or delay.
