The Middle Way

Avoiding extremes of indulgence and asceticism, finding balance in all things.

The Buddha taught the Middle Way between luxury and harsh asceticism. Not too tight, not too loose - like tuning a string instrument. This balanced approach applies to all of life: work and rest, solitude and community, discipline and ease.
