Ancestral Journeys
The great travels of creator beings that shaped the landscape and established sacred sites.
During the Dreaming, ancestral beings traveled across the land, their journeys creating mountains, rivers, and rock formations. Every feature of the landscape tells a story of these travels, and the routes they followed became songlines that connect sacred sites across vast distances.
The ancestors walked this land and their footprints became the mountains and valleys we see today.
Ancestral journeys encode both spiritual knowledge and practical geographic information.
