Mimi Spirits
Ancient spirits who taught humans how to hunt, paint, and conduct ceremonies.
The Mimi are thin, delicate spirits who live in rock crevices and taught the first humans essential skills. They are credited with creating the earliest rock art and teaching proper ceremony. These beings represent the transmission of culture and knowledge from the spirit world to humanity.
The Mimi taught us to paint, to dance, to hunt. They gave us our culture.
Mimi spirits explain the origin of cultural practices and artistic traditions.
