Speaking to Country
The practice of verbal communication with the land.
When entering country, it is proper to announce yourself, explain your purpose, and ask permission to be there. This speaking acknowledges the land's consciousness and maintains proper relationship between visitor and place.
Tell the country who you are and why you have come. It is listening.
