The Manifestations of God

The Manifestations of God are divine educators who combine the station of perfect humanity and the reflection of divine perfections.

Bahá'í theology carefully distinguishes between God and the Manifestations — the Manifestations are not God incarnate but perfect mirrors reflecting divine perfections. They are both fully human (subject to physical limitations) and divine (channels of divine guidance and grace). Bahá'u'lláh, Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, and others are all Manifestations from the same spiritual reality.

The word of God is the king of words and its pervasive influence is incalculable.

The Manifestation concept is the Bahá'í Faith's most sophisticated theological contribution, navigating between divine transcendence and religious incarnationism.
