Even a Little
Even a small offering of leaf, flower, fruit, or water, if offered with love, is accepted by Me.
God cares not for the grandeur of offerings but for the love behind them. A simple leaf offered with devotion pleases the Divine more than elaborate rituals performed mechanically. This democratic teaching opens the door of devotion to all, regardless of wealth or status. The poorest person can offer their love, and it is fully received. This removes barriers between humans and the Divine, emphasizing love over ritual.
If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, a fruit, or water, I will accept it.
Mirabai embodied this teaching—her simple songs of love, offered from the heart, moved millions while elaborate temple rituals often leave hearts untouched.

- What the Bhagavad Gita says about grief
A leaf, a flower, a fruit, water: offered with love, Krishna says he accepts it. For someone who can barely function, the Gita sets the minimum act of devotion absurdly low and means it.
