The Cosmic Vision
Arjuna beholds the entire universe, with its manifold divisions, all united in the body of the Supreme.
In Chapter 11, Arjuna receives divine eyes to witness Krishna's cosmic form (Vishvarupa). He sees the entire universe—all beings, all worlds, all time—contained in the divine body. This vision reveals that the multiplicity of existence is ultimately One. The experience is overwhelming, terrifying, and awe-inspiring. Such cosmic glimpses, reported across mystical traditions, dissolve the illusion of separation and reveal our place in the grand pattern.
There, in the body of the God of gods, Arjuna then saw the entire universe resting in one place, with all its infinite parts.
This vision parallels mystical experiences described across traditions—the overwhelming perception that all is One, reported by saints and sages worldwide.
