Bhagavad Gita

Thinking of Me Always

Always think of Me and become My devotee. Worship Me and offer homage to Me.

Constant remembrance of God is the core practice of bhakti yoga. This is not occasional recollection but continuous awareness, like a lover constantly thinking of their beloved. Such remembrance is facilitated by japa (repetition of divine names), mental worship, and seeing God in all beings. Research on the effects of devotional practice shows reduced anxiety, increased life satisfaction, and enhanced sense of meaning.

Always think of Me and become My devotee. Worship Me and offer your homage unto Me. Thus you will come to Me without fail. I promise you this because you are My very dear friend.

Lord Krishna, Bhagavad Gita 18.65

Chaitanya taught that the holy name contains all divine power—constant chanting of 'Hare Krishna' is the recommended practice for this age.
