The Druidic Orders
The three orders of druids: bards (poets), ovates (seers), and druids (philosophers and priests).
Celtic learned classes divided into three orders: bards who preserved memory through song, ovates who practiced divination and healing, and druids who served as judges, teachers, and ritual specialists. Each order required years of training.
The bard remembers, the ovate sees, the druid knows - together they preserve the truth.
The three orders show the Celtic specialization of sacred knowledge and social function.
