Questioning and Inquiry

The wise person learns by asking good questions.

Wisdom develops through inquiry. Asking questions, seeking clarification, and pursuing understanding are all expressions of wisdom. The fool assumes; the wise person asks.

I am not one who was born knowing. I am one who loves the ancients and diligently seeks their wisdom.

Confucius, Analects 7.20

Wisdom is achieved through diligent seeking.
