Avoiding Extremes
Wisdom recognizes and avoids extreme positions.
Extreme positions are usually wrong. The wise person sees truth in multiple perspectives and finds the balanced view. Dogmatism and fanaticism are failures of wisdom.
I dislike stubbornness that is not honest, pretentiousness that is not wise.
Wisdom avoids dogmatic extremism.
