The union of masculine and feminine principles within.
Within each person, masculine and feminine aspects must unite. This inner sacred marriage produces the 'child of light' - the regenerated self. It is the psychological aspect of the alchemical conjunction.
And this is how the soul becomes one.
The sacred marriage is both psychological and spiritual work.
