Hermetic Tradition
Written about in
- What Hermeticism says about teachers and lineage
A diary of practices, dreams and results is treated as a working instrument, on the grounds that patterns visible over months are invisible on the day.
- What Hermeticism says about habit and discipline
The magical diary is treated as equipment, not sentiment — dated entries of practices, dreams and results, kept until patterns appear that memory would have smoothed over. It is the tradition's defence against self-deception about how often you actually practised.
