Hermeticism

Patience and Timing

The necessity of proper timing in the alchemical work.

The alchemical work cannot be rushed. Each stage requires its proper time. Patience is one of the alchemist's greatest virtues. Attempting to hasten the work leads to failure.

Nature is not hurried, and neither should the alchemist be.

Alchemical Teaching, Alchemical Tradition
