As-Salam - The Source of Peace
Understanding Allah as the source of all peace and security, free from all defects.
As-Salam (السلام) means Allah is the source of all peace and security, free from any deficiency or harm. He grants peace to His creation and is Himself perfect peace. Muslims greet each other with 'As-salamu alaykum' (peace be upon you), invoking this divine attribute in daily interaction. True peace comes only through connection with As-Salam. The greeting of Paradise's inhabitants is 'Salam' (peace). Understanding this attribute inspires seeking peace from Allah, spreading peace among creation, and aspiring to the eternal peace of Paradise.
And Allah invites to the Home of Peace and guides whom He wills to a straight path.
The Prophet (PBUH) said spreading salam (peace greeting) is one of the best practices in Islam—it invokes divine peace upon others and builds community bonds.
