Satya - Truthfulness
Speaking truth as sacred duty, second of the five great vows.
Satya is the commitment to truthfulness in all speech. This includes speaking what is true, beneficial, and not harmful. Truth that causes harm should be expressed with care or withheld.
Truth is eternal; speak it without fear.
Satya is practiced in harmony with ahimsa.
