Lying, exaggeration, and deception all violate the vow of truth.
Satya prohibits all forms of falsehood: outright lies, half-truths, exaggerations, misleading statements, and deceptive silence. Truth requires both accuracy and intent not to deceive.
Let no falsehood pass your lips.
All forms of deception are included in false speech.
