Returning What is Found

Finding something does not make it yours; make effort to return it.

Items found should not be kept without effort to find the owner. Keeping found items without trying to return them is considered a form of taking what's not given.

What is found belongs to another; seek to return it.

Jain Ethics, Daily Practice
