Karma and Free Will
Despite karma's influence, beings have the freedom to work toward liberation.
While karma shapes circumstances, it doesn't determine responses. Beings have the freedom to pursue liberation through right effort. Karma creates conditions; choice creates progress.
Karma provides the situation; you provide the response.
Jain karma theory preserves moral agency.
