In the beginning, there was only stillness and silence. Then Heart of Sky (Uk'ux Kaj) and Heart of Earth (Uk'ux Ulew) spoke together, and through their sacred word, creation began. This teaches that creation emerges from the union of cosmic polarities.
This is the account of when all was still silent and placid. All was motionless and quiet, and empty was the expanse of the sky.
