K'inich Ahau - The Sun God
The lord of the sun whose daily journey defines the rhythms of life.
K'inich Ahau, the Sun-Eyed Lord, travels across the sky each day, then journeys through Xibalba at night, transformed into the Jaguar Sun. His eternal cycle teaches the necessity of facing darkness to bring light, and of transformation through ordeal.
Each day the Sun is reborn from the underworld, victorious over darkness.
The Sun God's journey models the soul's potential for transformation through trials.
