Accepting What Is
Finding peace with what cannot be changed while working to improve what can be.
Some things cannot be changed - birth day, past actions, others' choices. Wisdom lies in accepting these while focusing energy on what can be influenced. Fighting the unchangeable wastes power needed for real possibilities.
The river flows around the rock; the wise do not push against the immovable.
Acceptance teaching balances agency with recognition of limits.

- What the Maya tradition says about starting again after a fall
Birth day, past actions and other people's choices are listed as fixed. Energy spent arguing with those is energy unavailable for the part that can still move; the river flows around the rock rather than through it.
