Love Bestows Immortality
Narada teaches that the soul established in divine love attains the deathless, becoming eternally united with the imperishable beloved.
Drinking the nectar of divine love, the devotee becomes immortal — not by escaping physical death but by uniting with the imperishable, beyond which there is no fear of dissolution. Narada's promise echoes the Upanishadic quest for the deathless (amrita): the lover, having found and loved the eternal, partakes of that eternity. Death loses its sting for one whose treasure is beyond death's reach. This immortality is not a future event but a present reality entered the moment love becomes complete. The devotee already lives in the eternal while still in the body. To love the deathless wholly is, even now, to share in its deathlessness.
Attaining which a person becomes perfect, immortal, and wholly satisfied.
The teaching that love confers immortality parallels the Johannine promise that 'whoever lives by believing in Me will never die,' framing eternal life as a present participation in the divine rather than mere unending duration.

Immortality here is not the body continuing. It is union with what does not perish — the old Upanishadic goal reached by a different road.
