Gurprasad - Divine Grace

Spiritual liberation comes through divine grace, not merely personal effort.

Gurprasad acknowledges that while effort is necessary, ultimate realization comes through God's grace. This humbles the ego and opens the heart to receive divine blessings.

By Guru's Grace, the supreme status is obtained, and the mind is absorbed in the True Lord.

Guru Amar Das Ji, Guru Granth Sahib, Ang 117

Gurprasad balances self-effort with surrender to divine will.

  • What Sikhism says about hope

Gurprasad places the thing most worth hoping for outside your control — realization comes by grace, not by accumulation. This is bleak read one way and freeing read another: nothing you failed to do has disqualified you.
