Sikhism

Active Participation

Sikhs are called to actively participate in society, working for justice and welfare of all.

Sikhism is not a passive faith. Followers are expected to work for positive change in society, stand against injustice, and contribute to the common good through their efforts.

When all other means have failed, it is righteous to draw the sword.

Guru Gobind Singh Ji, Zafarnama

This teaching justifies active resistance against oppression when peaceful means fail.
