Ahankar - Pride
False ego and pride that separates one from God and other beings.
Ahankar is ego-pride that creates an inflated sense of self-importance. It is the root of all five thieves, creating the illusion of separation from God and others.
Pride, emotional attachment, and doubt are the three diseases.
Ahankar is dissolved through recognizing the true Self as Divine.
