Amrit Sanskar - Initiation
The sacred ceremony of initiation into the Khalsa, drinking amrit (sacred nectar).
Amrit Sanskar is the initiation ceremony where Sikhs formally enter the Khalsa. They drink amrit (sweetened water stirred with a double-edged sword), receive the Five Ks, and take vows.
One who takes Amrit becomes the Guru's own.
Amrit represents spiritual rebirth into the Khalsa family.
