Ekam Evadvitiyam - One Without a Second
Brahman alone exists without any duality.
Before creation, Brahman alone existed - one without a second. All apparent multiplicity arises within this unity. Realizing this dissolves the illusion of separation.
In the beginning, this was existence alone, one only, without a second.
This verse establishes the foundation of non-dual philosophy.
