Samadhi - Absorption

The state of complete absorption in the object of meditation.

Samadhi is the culmination of meditation where the meditator, meditation, and object of meditation merge into one. In the highest samadhi, only pure awareness remains.

When the mind becomes absorbed in Brahman, that is the highest samadhi.

Traditional, Vedantic Teachings

Samadhi is both a means and expression of self-realization.
