Yajnavalkya's Wisdom

Yajnavalkya was a sage who debated with other scholars and taught his wife Maitreyi about the Self. His teachings form a major portion of the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad.
It is not for the sake of the husband that the husband is dear, but for the sake of the Self.
Yajnavalkya reveals that all love is ultimately love of the Self.
