Origins of Suffering
Suffering exists because of Angra Mainyu's corruption of creation.
Ahura Mazda's perfect creation was invaded and corrupted by Angra Mainyu. Disease, death, drought, and suffering are not from God but from the Destructive Spirit. This solves the problem of theodicy.
All that harms life comes from the Lie, not from the Creator.
This preserves divine goodness while explaining evil's existence.

- What Zoroastrianism says about good and evil
Suffering is explained as an invasion of a good creation rather than as part of its design. Disease and death are damage, not features.
- What Zoroastrianism says about illness and the body failing
Disease, death and drought are attributed to Angra Mainyu's invasion of a perfect creation, not to Ahura Mazda. The tradition pays a price for this answer: it clears God of your illness, but it also denies you any meaning in it.
