Zoroastrianism

The Three Periods

Cosmic history divided into creation, mixture, and separation.

Zoroastrian cosmology divides time into three periods: creation (Bundahishn) when Mazda created perfectly, mixture (Gumezishn) when evil invaded, and separation (Wizarishn) when good and evil are finally separated.

We live in the time of mixture; separation is coming.

Zoroastrian Cosmology, Bundahishn

This framework gives structure to cosmic history.
