Spirit Children - Conception Beliefs
How spirit children enter the mother and the connection of new life to country.
According to traditional belief, spirit children wait at sacred sites for the right mother to pass by. When conception occurs, a spirit child enters the mother, connecting the new person eternally to that place. This teaches that all humans are fundamentally spiritual beings connected to specific country.
Before you were born, your spirit waited in the land. When your mother passed that place, you entered her.
