Progressive Revelation
Knowledge revealed gradually as readiness develops.
Sacred knowledge is not given all at once but revealed progressively as the individual demonstrates readiness. Each level of initiation brings access to deeper teachings. This protects both the knowledge and the unready individual.
Knowledge comes when you are ready. Pushed too soon, it can harm you.
Progressive revelation ensures knowledge is properly contextualized and integrated.

- What Aboriginal tradition says about elders and knowledge
Sacred knowledge is released in layers as a person proves ready for it. Giving too much too early is treated as a danger to the person as well as to the knowledge.
- What Aboriginal tradition says about what to leave unsaid
Sacred knowledge is not handed over at once. It is released stage by stage as a person demonstrates readiness, and the stated reason is protection of the hearer — knowledge pushed too soon is held to harm the one receiving it.
