Sacred Objects - Tjuringa
Physical objects that embody ancestral power and connect to the Dreaming.
Sacred objects like tjuringa are not mere symbols but actual repositories of ancestral power. They connect the living to the Dreaming, must be properly cared for, and are revealed only to those with appropriate standing.
The tjuringa is not a symbol of the ancestor. It is the ancestor.
Sacred objects demonstrate belief in material-spiritual continuity.
