Petroglyphs - Rock Engravings
Permanent images carved into rock surfaces.
Rock engravings create permanent records that endure for tens of thousands of years. These petroglyphs mark significant locations, record events, and maintain connections across vast stretches of time. They speak to us from the deep past.
The rock carvings have been speaking since before memory. They will speak long after we are gone.
Australian petroglyphs include some of the oldest engravings in the world.
