The Universal House of Justice
The Universal House of Justice is the supreme governing institution of the Bahá'í Faith, whose decisions are guided by the Holy Spirit.
Established in 1963, the Universal House of Justice is the supreme administrative institution of the global Bahá'í community, elected every five years by members of National Spiritual Assemblies. Bahá'u'lláh promised that its decisions, made through consultation, are divinely guided. It can legislate on matters not covered in the texts.
