Bahá'í Faith

The Institute Process

A systematic sequence of courses builds individual capacity for service and community building in the Bahá'í community.

The Bahá'í Institute process — a sequence of courses developed from the 1990s onward — provides systematic training in the knowledge, qualities, and skills needed for service and community building. The courses address prayer, service, education of children, working with youth, and community action. They are now used globally in hundreds of thousands of study circles.

Release the immense potentialities of the human spirit.

Since the 1990s Bahá'ís have worked through a sequence of courses — prayer, service, children's classes, work with junior youth — now running in study circles across the world. It treats capacity as something built in order, in a group, over years, rather than summoned by resolve.
