Bhagavad Gita

Most Dear to Me

There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than they who teach this, nor will there ever be one more dear.

Krishna declares that those who share his teaching are the most beloved of all servants. This elevates teaching to the highest form of service. Other devotional activities are valuable, but transmitting liberating wisdom helps others in the most fundamental way. Teachers of truth participate in divine compassion, extending liberation to those who might otherwise remain bound.

There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear.

Lord Krishna, Bhagavad Gita 18.69

This verse motivates teachers—even imperfect ones who share sincerely are most precious to God. The teaching itself conveys transforming power.
