Bhagavad Gita

Studying the Gita

And I declare that those who study this sacred dialogue worship Me by their intelligence.

Even studying the Gita is worship. Those who engage with this dialogue—reading, reflecting, discussing—worship Krishna through the exercise of intelligence. This sanctifies intellectual engagement with scripture. Study is not merely preparation for practice; it is itself practice. The mind engaged with truth is performing jnana yajna—the sacrifice of knowledge.

And one who studies this sacred conversation of ours worships Me by his intelligence.

Lord Krishna, Bhagavad Gita 18.70

This verse sanctifies scriptural study as a form of worship—the intellect engaged with truth is offering itself to God.
