The Druid's Mist
The magical mist that druids could raise to confuse enemies or hide what should not be seen.
Druids were famous for raising magical mists that disoriented enemies, allowed escapes, or hid sacred activities from profane eyes. This féth fíada or 'mantle of concealment' represented the druid's power over perception and the boundaries between visible and invisible.
The mist rises at the druid's word; what should not be seen becomes invisible.
Druid mist represents the power to control perception and manifest invisibility.

- What Celtic tradition says about what to say and what to leave unsaid
The féth fíada, the druid's mantle of concealment, is an admired power rather than a deceit. The tradition openly permits some things to be kept out of sight, and never squares that with its own vow of truth against the world.
