The Prayer of Faith
Prayer offered in faith, trusting God's power and willingness, accomplishes great things.
James teaches, 'The prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.' Faith prayer is not doubting whether God can or will act. Jesus promised that faith like a mustard seed could move mountains. This faith rests not on the strength of the prayer but on the character of God. Faith does not manipulate God but trusts Him. Even when healing doesn't come as expected, faith trusts God's wisdom. The prayer of faith aligns with God's will while believing He can do more than we ask or imagine.
And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up.
Smith Wigglesworth, known for healing ministry, taught that 'faith is the substance' while 'fear is a substance too—the substance of defeat.'
