Relationship with the gods requires ongoing exchange.
The gods created and sustain us; we in turn must feed and honor them. This is not transaction but relationship. Offerings, prayers, and ceremonies maintain the reciprocity that keeps the cosmos in order. Neglect leads to imbalance.
The gods give; we give back. The circle must not be broken.
