Eihwaz - The World Tree
Eihwaz represents the yew tree, connecting worlds and providing access between realms.
Eihwaz is the rune of the yew tree, sacred for its longevity and its wood used for bows. It represents the axis between worlds, death and rebirth, and the mysteries of transition. This rune teaches connection between all realms of existence.
The yew is outwardly a rough tree, hard and fast in the earth, keeper of flame, a pleasure to the noble's estate.
Eihwaz symbolizes the shamanic ability to travel between worlds.
