The Valkyries' Choice
The Valkyries choose the bravest of the slain; how you die determines where you go.
Valkyries, Odin's shield-maidens, watched every battle and chose which of the fallen would go to Valhalla. They selected those who showed the greatest courage and skill. Warriors fought knowing divine eyes judged their every action.
Fight as if the Valkyries watch, for surely they do.
The Valkyries represented divine judgment of warrior conduct.
