The Cosmic Cycle
The cosmos moves through cycles of creation, existence, destruction, and renewal.
Norse cosmology is cyclical. The current world emerged from Ginnungagap, will be destroyed at Ragnarok, and will be reborn. This teaches that endings are also beginnings - that destruction makes room for new creation.
A hall she sees rise, more fair than the sun, roofed with gold, on Gimle; there shall the righteous rulers dwell.
The cycle of creation and destruction teaches acceptance of change.
