Odin the Allfather
Odin is the chief of the gods, god of wisdom, war, death, poetry, and magic.
Odin rules from Hlidskjalf, seeing all nine worlds. He sacrificed an eye for wisdom and hung on Yggdrasil for the runes. He leads the Wild Hunt and chooses the slain for Valhalla. Odin represents the relentless pursuit of knowledge at any cost.
I am called Odin, I am called the Allfather; many names have I among the nations.
Odin embodies the Norse ideal of wisdom-seeking and self-sacrifice.
