While working diligently, one should remain content with honest earnings, avoiding greed.
Sikhism teaches working hard while maintaining inner contentment. The endless pursuit of more wealth corrupts the soul; satisfaction with sufficient, honest income brings peace.
Contentment is the true wealth.
Santokh (contentment) is considered one of the five virtues in Sikhism.
