Jealousy and Envy
Resentment at others' success or fortune, which poisons one's own happiness.
Jealousy sees others' blessings as threats rather than as inspiration. It creates constant dissatisfaction. Celebrating others' success frees one from this poison.
One who is free from envy attains the Lord.
Envy is overcome by cultivating joy in others' good fortune.
